Detachable Container House Installation Core Process and Acceptance Standards

The installation of detachable container house  must follow the core process of "Foundation Preparation → Frame Erection → Enclosure Installation → Supporting Finishing → Quality Inspection and Acceptance". The whole process is mainly based on bolt fastening, taking into account horizontal/vertical alignment and waterproof sealing. The following are the detailed steps and key points:

I. Preparations (Safety and Foundation Guarantee)

  1. Site and Foundation Treatment

  2. Clear the site of debris to ensure the ground is flat and firm (within ±5mm). For soft ground, a gravel cushion or concrete leveling is required; for outdoor sites, a drainage slope (3%~5%) should be set.

  3. Conduct surveying and setting out, mark the base position, check that the diagonal error is ≤3mm, and verify the ground level with a level gauge.

  4. Material and Tool Inventory

  5. Materials: Chassis frame, uprights, top beams, bottom square tubes, wall panels, floor panels, doors and windows, roof tiles, sealant, fasteners (cart bolts, self-tapping screws, angle brackets).

  6. Tools: Electric wrench, level gauge, tape measure, rubber hammer, screwdriver, crowbar, sealant gun; safety belts and ladders are required for high-altitude operations.

  7. Safety Inspection

  8. Check that components are free of deformation/damage, fasteners are of matching specifications, and the operating environment avoids rain, snow and strong winds.

II. Core Installation Steps (12-Step Standard Process)

1. Chassis Frame Assembly

  • Preliminarily fix the bottom beams and corner heads with cart bolts without tightening; calibrate the diagonal with a tape measure (error ≤3mm), level with a level gauge, then tighten all bolts with an electric wrench.

  • Embed the bottom square tubes into the chassis clips according to the direction of the card slots, distribute them alternately, clamp both ends tightly and fix with screws to ensure uniform spacing.

2. Upright Installation

  • Assemble the upright corner heads in advance, insert the four uprights into the chassis feet, connect them manually with cart bolts, sleeve the connecting angle brackets on the top, and do not tighten temporarily.

  • Two people cooperate to hold the uprights firmly, correct the verticality with a level gauge (error ≤2mm), and tighten the bottom and top bolts in sequence.

3. Top Frame Installation

  • Connect the top cross beams and side beams to the upper mouth of the uprights through angle brackets, pre-tighten the screws manually; re-check the verticality of the uprights and the levelness of the top frame, and fully tighten after confirmation.

  • Ensure that the size of the top frame is consistent with the chassis frame, and the diagonal error is ≤3mm.

4. Floor Panel Laying

  • Lay fireproof floor panels (such as glass magnesium panels) on the chassis purlins, clamp both sides of the panels tightly; fix with self-tapping screws, with at least 2 screws per floor panel to ensure close fit with the frame.

  • Treat the joints of the floor panels with sealant to prevent water seepage.

5. Wall Panel Installation

  • Start from the side of the door and window openings, embed the wall panels into the bottom card slots, and tap them tightly with a rubber hammer; fix the top buckle slots with self-tapping screws, and drill through the frame from the side (at least 2 screws per wall panel) to integrate the wall panels, buckle slots and frame.

  • Reserve the door and window openings accurately, and seal the joints of the wall panels with sealant.

6. Door and Window Installation

  • Embed the door/window frames into the reserved openings, adjust the level and verticality, then fix with self-tapping screws; apply waterproof sealant between the bottom of the doors/windows and the frame to ensure sealing.

  • Install door and window locks and hinges, and debug the smoothness of opening and closing.

7. Top Purlins and Ceiling Installation

  • Fix the roof purlins and wall buckle slots from bottom to top with self-tapping screws, connecting the card slots, ceiling and purlins; install ceiling support strips, lay and fix the ceiling panels.

  • Use angle aluminum to edge the joints between the ceiling and wall panels to enhance aesthetics and firmness.

8. Roof Installation

  • First lay thermal insulation/sound insulation cotton, then lay roof tiles in an overlapping manner, fix them on the purlins with 25mm self-tapping screws, with at least 1 screw per purlin.

  • Apply waterproof sealant to the roof joints, eaves and the junction of the wall to prevent water leakage.

9. Pressure Plate Slot and Edge Banding

  • Snap the pressure plate slots on the top of the wall panels in the correct direction (protruding outward) and fix with screws to avoid affecting the installation of subsequent components.

  • Use angle aluminum to edge the four corners of the container and fix with screws to enhance structural stability and aesthetics.

10. Electrical Installation

  • Fix the distribution box at the designated position, lay the lines, and install switches/sockets by drilling holes according to the marks; protect the wires with conduits and insulate the joints.

  • Test the circuit for smoothness, no short circuit/leakage, and install lighting fixtures.

11. Waterproof Sealing

  • Evenly apply waterproof sealant to the roof tile joints, eaves, around doors and windows, and wall panel joints, ensuring the sealant layer is continuous without breaks.

  • Use sealing tape to assist in sealing the top corners to enhance the waterproof effect.

12. Finishing Inspection

  • Tighten all bolts and check for looseness; clean the surface of the container and remove construction waste.

  • Water test: Spray the roof, doors and windows to check for water seepage; debug the opening and closing of doors and windows and the normal operation of the circuit.

III. Common Problems and Solutions

Problems

Causes

Solutions

Frame Tilting

Uneven Ground/Uprights Not Calibrated

Re-level the ground, correct the verticality of the uprights, and reinforce the bolts

Unable to Receive Verification Code

Number Cannot Receive International SMS/Number Segment Blocked

Replace with a local physical number or high-quality virtual number

Roof Water Leakage

Uneven Sealant Application/Incorrect Roof Tile Overlap

Reapply sealant, adjust the overlap of roof tiles, and ensure the nail holes are sealed

Loose Wall Panels

Insufficient Number of Self-Tapping Screws/Incorrect Positioning

Add more self-tapping screws, reposition and fix, ensuring at least 2 screws per wall panel

IV. Acceptance Standards (Key Indicators)

  1. Structure: The vertical/horizontal error of the frame is ≤2mm, the diagonal error is ≤3mm, and there are no loose components.

  2. Waterproofing: No water seepage at the roof, doors, windows and joints, and the sealant layer is continuous and uniform.

  3. Supporting Facilities: Doors and windows open and close smoothly, the circuit is on and off normally, and the floor has no hollowing.

  4. Appearance: The edge banding is flat, there are no obvious scratches, and the color is consistent.

V. Notes

  1. Safety belts must be worn for high-altitude operations, and multiple people should cooperate to avoid the risk of single-person operation.

  2. Bolt tightening should be done in three steps: "pre-tightening → calibration → final tightening" to prevent frame deformation.

  3. Materials should be handled with care to avoid collision and deformation, which may affect installation accuracy.

  4. Regularly check the fasteners and sealant after installation to ensure long-term stable use.
